Taniwha

Mr Rush, our student teacher is introducing us to the world of the Taniwha.

In Maori myths the Taniwha was a creature who took on many shapes and forms. Sometimes they looked like dragons, other times they were a mix of human and animal form.

They generally lived in rivers, lakes or the sea.

Here we are creating our own taniwha.

Stay tuned. There is more taniwha art and writing on the way.
