This term we are learning about weather for science.

Mrs Dobbie asked us if we knew what happened to the water she poured on the ground. She had drawn a line around it and gone in the class for an hour. When we came out to look at the water there was none left in the outline.

What happened to it? Some of us said the sun dried it up, some said that the water had evaporated. Wow big word. Next week we will do some experiments to discover what evaporation really means and what important part it plays in the water cycle.
