The Next Step on our Art Journey.

Next we had to go back to class and study New Zealand native birds. We looked at tuis, kiwis, pukekoes, keas, fantail and moreporks. 

Than we practiced drawing birds and adapting our basic bird drawing to look like one of our native birds.

The following week, we practiced blending and colouring with pastels. We wanted our birds to be perfect when we coloured them in. 

Isiah was particularly good at blending!
