Room 6's Arcade.

A week or so ago we watched a video on you tube about a boy called Caine who built a games arcade out of cardboard boxes.
We were amazed. He made all sorts of games and had tickets and prizes.
We were set a challenge by Mrs Ukutaula. "Can you design and build an arcade game like Caine?" No need to even wait for an answer. We were off.
So while some lovely Mums brought in boxes, we came up with the game plans. "Keep it simple" was the thing Mrs Dobbie kept saying.
We invited Room 21 to our class because they had made cardboard  maths games. We played their super games. They were so amazing! They inspired us with their ideas and creativity. Could we do as good a job as they did?
Here we go!
The planning stage.

Sharing our ideas.

Room 21 inspires us.

We plan some more.

We begin the build!

...and some of us finish!

Waiting for tomorrow to finish off...

Stay tuned for the next stage...games ready to play.
