ASSEMBLY

Week 9. 28 March to 1 April

This week it was our class's turn to host the Harekeke assembly.

Our theme was that we embrace the different cultures, religions and nationalities that make up our school and that with all these differences we are all the same - great kids who all have the same feelings and emotions!

We made a powerpoint showing where all of us come from in the world and some of us showed our national flags, wore our national costumes and sang and danced something from our culture. It was so much fun.

We also made up a song to the Wiggles "Big Red Car" tune about how we learn at New Windsor.

Here are a few snippets!

Did you know Ms Smythe played the guitar? Watch out Mr. Bermingham!

Look at all the different nationalities in Room 6!

Listen to these guys sing!

Remember the Wiggles song "Big Red Car"? Look how we adapted it!

Watch Vanya from our buddy class sing and dance!!
