Persuasive writing
Today in class, we were learning about persuasive writing. Miss Morrison (our student teacher) taught us a way of writing a persuasive statement. Using OREO we wrote our opinions about caged animals and whether we thought it was good for the animals.
OREO stands for:
O - Opinion
R - Reasons
E - Example, Explain
O - Opinion
Here is Sophy's awesome work from today which earned her a principals award sticker!

Way to go Sophy. I think that the OREO method could work really well in Room 15 too. We might follow your lead.
ReplyDeleteWow I never thought that OREO could be used for this. I think that this idea is very fun to do. Maybe you could try to find another one. I think that this idea is great for learning and I think I should try it. Great work room 5
