Statistics in Room 6!

Statistics is all about collecting information or data from asking a question.

1. It works like this. Yyou decide what information you want to find out.
2. You ask a group of people the question.
3. You collect the information or data using a system like tally marks.
4. You total up you results.
5. You graph the data and analyse the results?

We realized that anyone can ask a question and collect data.

The NZ Government has asked the adults in N Z if we would like a new flag to represent NZ.

We decided that as we are going to be the adults of the future who will have to to be proud of our flag that we should be able to have our say too.

After asking our class the question:which flag would you like to represent NZ this is what we found out. Check out our graph!
