Metaphor Descriptions of Ourselves!

The "Get N.Z Writing" project also required us to write a metaphor describing ourselves.

We learnt that a metaphor is a special way of describing something.  When you use a metaphor you compare something with something else by saying it is that thing
For example in the book we read "My Mouth is a Volcano", the little boy in the story would always call out and interrupt when other people were talking. He described his calling out as "my mouth is a volcano" because his words would just  rumble in his tummy and erupt out of his mouth.

Here are our metaphors!

When the backs of all of these cards are put together like a jigsaw, they will spell out a message to our buddy school in Dunedin. We have no idea what the message could be! Likewise when we receive our buddy class's postcards, we will be able to put them together as well to read the message. 

We can't wait to get our package!!! I wonder if North East Valley Normal School is as excited as we are about receiving our parcel!!!
