Lockdown and Baking - a Perfect MIx!

This week we are learning about instructional writing. One of the best kinds of instructional writing is recipes. You can learn all about bossy verbs, sequencing and being super accurate from reading and following a recipe. You can even learn about maths in baking. Angela learnt a little about fractions and multiplication and Aayat about how you can make a 3D spiral shape from a flat 2D rectangle.

But best of all is you get to eat what you have created! Yum!

  1. Well done Angela! It is great to see how you have incorporated maths into your baking. Your cupcakes look delicious. Now maybe you could try to write an instructional recipe on how you made these delicious cupcakes!

  2. Yum Room 6!

I love cinnamon rolls - they are my favourite. Did you find anything trick while baking?
