Beans...

Today we learnt about how a bean plant grows. We watched a video about the parts of a bean seed.

Did you know that a seed gas a COAT to protect it just like when we wear coats to keep warm and dry?

It also has a baby plant inside called an EMBRYO and FOOD SUPPLY to help it grow until it had grown roots to get nutrients from the soil?

We cut open a bean to see if we could find and see all these parts. Look carefully, can you see them all?
